Industrial production line automation solution
Increasing Capacity by 29% through the Consolidation of Heterogeneous Equipment
In the midst of 8 pieces of equipment, 4 automated robotic arms have been strategically placed. This allows for automatic handling of components for different machine types without changing grippers, naturally enhancing overall production efficiency. This is the nation's only intelligent production line capable of producing 5 different crankshafts concurrently. Through the integration of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with the smart production line and supplier information, real-time monitoring of quality and delivery schedules has resulted in a remarkable increase in the supplier's on-time delivery rate to 95.9%. Currently, with the support of smart manufacturing technology, Kymco Industrial has seen a 29% increase in daily crankshaft production capacity, rising from the initial 154 pcs to 199 pcs. The annual production capacity has surged to 49,000 pcs.
Uninterrupted Processing for Accelerated Returns
Initial Requirement: Continuous 24/7 Processing to Address Labor-Intensive Challenges, Reduce Defect Rates, and Improve Overall Operational Efficiency. Through system integration, machine information is obtained to enhance the production process, whether it is temperature control or alert notifications, resulting in significantly increased machine utilization rates. The corresponding automated solution includes high-capacity storage cabinet systems that can accommodate uninterrupted production for 72 hours.
